Part of our Denim Fusion Upcycled Jacket Collection, this one-of-a-kind piece was handcrafted in Ghana by artisan Elijah Siaw. A repurposed light-wash denim blazer is transformed with hand-applied mudcloth details, giving existing denim new life through thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship.
The ultra-cropped silhouette features long sleeves and bold, asymmetrical mudcloth lapels in contrasting cream-and-black and navy-and-white patterns.
On the back, a statement mudcloth appliqué depicts Ananse Ntontan, the Adinkra symbol meaning “spider’s web.” Inspired by Ananse of Akan folklore, the symbol represents wisdom, creativity, resourcefulness, and the complexities of life.
Style it over a fitted top with tailored trousers, a flowing skirt, or a dress for a look that is polished, artistic, and unmistakably unique.
