Meet The Founder
I’m Georgina Fofana, born and raised in Ghana, and my work as an educator, storyteller, and advocate is deeply connected to the rich traditions of my homeland. I founded Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace to empower artisans and share the beauty of Ghanaian culture with the world.
Through this marketplace, I focus on creating meaningful connections, promoting fair trade, and using storytelling to celebrate heritage and inspire others. My hope is that Ayebea's Sankofa Marketplace helps make a positive impact on the lives of artisans and those who appreciate handmade, culturally rooted products.
